I am a lesbian and I am a behavioral neuroscientist.//

 

I grew up in France, at a time where it was OK to be gay, as long as it was kept completely under wraps. Same-sex marriage became legal in 2013, and drew thousands of protesters into the streets, among them, members of my family! I had absolutely no role model throughout my scientific career and it is only recently that I appreciated the critical importance of advocacy. I hope to help others in STEM fields by making myself more visible. I study cognitive aging, with a particular interest in sex differences and menopause.
