Hi! My name is Adam Schuller and I am a post-doctoral fellow in environmental neurotoxicology. My research interests center around how modifiable risk factors (e.g., environmental exposure events) contribute to the onset or pathogenesis of neurodegenerative disease, especially in the context of neuroinflammatory insult. Long-term the goals of this work are to influence environmental regulatory policy as well as to inform diagnostic/treatment protocols translationally.
Outside of my direct research interests, I am passionate about advocacy for accurate and inclusive language/representation in STEM. In my free time I enjoy supporting the local drag scene, outdoors activities, traveling, and being an amateur foodie!
