I am gay and I am a sexual health scientist.//
My journey started completing an undergraduate degree in Psychology (University of South Wales, UK), followed by a Masters in Health Psychology (University of Bath, UK). I am currently completing my PhD in Medicine, exploring the impact of HIV PrEP on STIs, and antibiotic resistance among men who have sex with men. I also work alongside Public Health Wales to deliver evaluations on sexual health interventions. Upon completing my PhD I will start my career as a Trial Manager within my department.
As an openly gay/queer scientist conducting research on queer people, I understand the importance of our representation in science.
