I am a lesbian and I am an evolutionary theorist.//
I grew up with my mother (and four younger siblings!) in Tempe, Arizona and with my father in Concord, Massachusetts. I did my undergraduate degree in Biology and Applied Mathematics at George Washington University in DC before finally taking the mean of all those locations and ending up in Lansing, Michigan for my current PhD in evolutionary theory using agent-based modeling. My goal is to teach interdisciplinary computational biology courses in schools that serve their surrounding populations.
I’m an avid reader & writer of queer fiction and the owner of three horrible cats (well, two horrible cats and a ball of fluff). My partner and I have made it our life’s mission to visit every US National Park before we die; hope to see you there!
