I’m gay and I’m a biomedical science student. //
I’m a biomedical science student. I’ve just finished my first year at universiy following a career change (I was bored working in a call center). I went back to college, completed an Access to Higher Education (biosciences) course, and applied to university. I’m currently on clinical placement in a hospital pathology laboratory. It’s very interesting, especially the microbiology lab where there are more practical diagnostic techniques used in identification and treatment of microbiological pathogens. I’m enjoying all aspects of my degree, and I’m particularly interested in virology and immunology; the immune system is fantastically complex and I hope to be able to go into research into viral pathogenises once I finish my undergraduate degree.
