I am a Professor in the Department of Integrative Biology at the University of South Florida. I study the biomechanical and physiological mechanisms of animal movement and how these mechanisms change through evolution. I’m particularly interested how animals achieve extreme performance like long-distance jumping or ballistic tongue projection.
