She/Her
I am queer and I am an evolutionary biologist. //
I’m currently a postdoc at the Federal University of Pará (Brazil) with an interest in genetics as a tool to address a wide variety of questions regarding ecology, evolution, and historical biogeography of various species. I also maintain a strong interest in genomics and large datasets, as my work focuses on phylogenomics. After more than a decade in academia, also suffering harassment as a woman, I believe we should be supportive with each other and give the valuable role that diversity has in the STEM.
