He/Him
I’m gay and I’m an assistant professor in cancer research at NYU School of Medicine. //
I’ve been a principal investigator in the Department of Pathology at NYU SoM since 2014. Our lab studies how tumors acquire the nutrients that they need to survive and how to best target those pathways for anti-cancer therapy. I’m inspired by the curiosity and energy of the students and faculty at NYU, as well as my former mentors and lab-mates at Harvard and MIT. I’m also a proud husband and father of two amazing adopted children. The queer community in New York and at NYU is outgoing and supportive, making it a great place for science!
