I am gay and I am an analytical chemist. //
I grew up in the Swansea area and received my bachelor’s degrees from the University of Wales Swansea. I am now an Experimental Officer at the UK National Mass Spectrometry Facility in Swansea University. My current research investigates the development of ambient desorption/ionization techniques and their applications in the analysis of petrochemicals and bio-diesels. I am actively involved with the university LGBT+ Staff Network, and work with Early Career Network in Chemistry.
