I am gay and I am a microscopist. //

I’m a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Oxford. My work focuses on developing new laser-based imaging and surgical technologies for biological applications. I’ve trained in both Canada and the United States before moving to England to be with my partner. I’ve never questioned my queer identity, but I’ve often wondered if I’m a physicist or an engineer and why I learned so much biology? Regardless, I’m in love with science and incredibly happy that I can pursue my passion while being myself.
