I am gay and I am a geneticist. //

I am a PhD student at the Max Planck Institute for Immunobiology and Epigenetics in Freiburg, Germany. My work focuses on understanding X chromosome dosage compensation in model organisms, such as fruitfly and mouse. I’m Lebanese and moved to Germany after finishing my master’s in Beirut, Lebanon. In my free time, I enjoy horror movies, cooking/baking, and outdoor sports.
