Marcos Manzanares
He/Him
I am gay and I am a biologist. //
I am an Assistant Professor at the National Institute of Bioengineering, Central University of Venezuela. My main interest is focused on quantitative morphology, a field that links different disciplines in Biology and Bioengineering. When not in the lab, I spend my time supporting my partner’s job in music education for children, as well as cooking, reading, and playing with my dog Cox. I am a passionate supporter of science communication and making science more accessible to the people. I’m proud to be from Caracas, Venezuela, as well as to be a scientist. In each of them I have been able to develop myself in a creative and free way, having the support and due respect.
