I am queer and I am an undergraduate biology student.//

I am currently an undergraduate Biology student at the University of Delaware interested in obtaining a PhD in Molecular Genetics. At my university, I currently study epigenetic modifications in the prefrontal cortex of rodents following adverse infant caregiving experiences. I also see how these early-life experiences influence plasma cortisol levels. I hope to continue to follow my passion for epigenetics and helping others into graduate school! I also previously served as the president of my university’s chapter of Out in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (oSTEM), an organization that strives to create a community and advance those identifying as LGBTQ+ and have a passion for science.
