Kris Winter
She/Her and They/Them
I am bi and GenderFluid and I am a forensic anthropologist (in training), researcher and science communicator.//
I am a budding forensic anthropologist with the hiccups. I have a background in forensic anthropology, anatomy/physiology and information technology from the Queensland University of Technology. I am currently working on estimation equations to assist with the identification of Australian missing persons from their skeletons. While my field still believes in the biological sex binary, I would like to work towards growing the understanding of the LGBTQ+ space and how it does influence our work. I hope to dedicate my career towards assisting with the identification of missing persons and returning them to their families, particularly in humanitarian contexts.
