I am bi and I am an aquarist, ichthyologist, and marine biologist.//
I have a bachelors degree in marine biology from Hawaii Pacific University. I’m a full-time lead aquarist and manager at an aquarium store (as well as social media manager, content creator, and website developer/manager for @age_of_aquariums). My areas of expertise are fish disease identification and treatment, and aquatic plants and aquascaping. Science has always been a hobby of mine and I volunteer at the local public aquarium in my free time. Being Hispanic, queer, AND a woman in STEM doesn’t have to be a challenge. I’m lucky to work in a very inclusive city, and I help make my workplace a safe place for everyone!
