He/Him
I am gay and I am a chemical engineer in pharmaceutical manufacturing.//
I studied an intergrated MEng at The University of Sheffield, with a specialism in Biomanufacturing. I worked on utilising a novel liquid-liquid extraction technique to purify proteins at a bench top scale.
I am currently studying for a PhD, also at The University of Sheffield, in chemical engineering. My project combines both theoretical and experimental aspects to further mechanistic understanding in spherical agglomeration. The process has the potential to rapidly intensify conventional pharamceutical manufacturing, but is currently not adopted within industry due to the lack of mechanistic understanding.
Outside of my studies, I enjoy being outdoors and exploring new places, cooking a feast fit for a king on a Sunday, and relaxing with a glass of red.
