I am queer and I am a behavioural ecologist. //

I’m working on my MSc thesis about territorial plasticity in red squirrels, and have spent the last four summers chasing squirrels, hiking mountains, and keeping it queer at our field camp in the southwest Yukon. I’m trying to make science a more welcoming space, especially by using my white male-ness to help other folks who are marginalized in more ways than one.
