I’m gay and I am from Mexico. I got my PhD at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and stayed there for a postdoc. Last year (2017), I came back to Mexico to start my own lab at the National University focused on developing quantitative ultrasound imaging techniques for disease diagnosis and treatment monitoring.
