She/Her, They/Them
I am trans and I am a physicist and biomathematician.//
I graduated in physics with an emphasis in statistical mechanics, and for my master’s degree I worked with evolutionary game theory and the evolution of cooperation. During my (recently finished) PhD I specialized in biostatistics and the mathematical modeling of populations, applied to molecular and eco-evolutionary dynamics. I say that my queer experience has such a meaningful impact to my worldview and my way of thinking in science. I am so glad to be both queer and a scientist, it has a beautiful synergy to it. I hope the world recognizes this more and more. 🙂
