I am gay and I am a molecular biologist and microbiologist. //

I have been with the Agricultural Research Service (division of USDA) since October 2010, and have been an out employee since the day of my interview. I started my research center’s first LGBTQIA awareness group in 2014. I have been “gayly” married for 5 years, and we are raising a 5-year-old daughter together!
