I am gay and I am a social psychologist/neuroscientist.//
Starting in Fall 2022, I will be a PhD student in Social Psychology at the University of Delaware. Previously, I obtained a BS in Behavioral Neuroscience from the University of Kansas, the state where I was born and raised.
In a nutshell, my research focuses on how emotions, identity, and group membership shape social behavior and perception. I hope to focus on these interactions with an emphasis on race, gender, and sexual orientation.
Outside of research, I play the clarinet and was in marching band throughout high school and college. I would love to connect with other LGTBQ+ scientists, so please feel free to reach out and follow me on Twitter! 🙂
