He/Him
I am gay and I am an avian field technician.//
I am a gay (his/he) avian field technician who works in Yellowstone National Park (YNP). My work includes studying/monitoring raptors (Peregrine Falcons, Osprey, Golden Eagles, & Bald Eagles), songbirds, and water-birds (Trumpeter Swans, Common Loons, etc.). My position allows me to aid in various avian conservation efforts within Yellowstone, including helping release Trumpeter Swan cygnets to supplement local populations of this species. Additionally, I have worked on multiple avian conservation projects in the U.S. including; Hawaii, Minnesota, Colorado, and Georgia. My goal is to be a steward for conservation and to bring visibility to LBGTQ+ members who want to get involved in working with wildlife.
