I study plant diversity and biogeography with a focus on ferns and lycophytes. I’m proud to be a botanist and the Curator of the Herbarium at Oregon State University, where I get to share my passion for plants with others. I’m also involved with science education research & outreach. I thank my wife of 22 years for encouraging my science journey—which gets more exciting every year.
