I am queer and I am a neuroscience PhD student. //

I’m Dori and I’m a PhD student in the four-year Neuroscience PhD program at the University of Sussex. I’m from The Netherlands, where I studied biology and artificial intelligence. I currently study the hippocampus and am interested in how different types of information relevant for spatial navigation are encoded by the cells of the hippocampus. When I’m not in the lab, you may find me outside looking for insects, specifically Lepidoptera (butterflies and moths), or around a hockey pitch to play, umpire, watch, or volunteer.
