He/Him
I am androsexual and I am a graduate student in Clinical Psychology at University of Massachusetts Amherst.//
Currently, I am a graduate student in the Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program at University of Massachusetts Amherst. My program of research focuses on the course, phenomenology, treatment and prevention of borderline personality disorder, emotion regulation difficulties, and self-damaging behaviors (e.g., suicide, NSSI, and disordered eating) in male and LGBTQIA+ populations.
This program of mental health disparities research was inspired by my undergraduate and post-baccalaureate work at the University of Nevada-Reno and University of California San Diego, Eating Disorder Center for Treatment and Research. In these positions, I contributed to studies that aimed to elucidate psychosocial risk factors associated with mental health disparities, and novel randomized controlled trials evaluating the efficacy of targeted treatment and prevention programs for high risk populations.
