I am queer and I am a science content specialist/STEM coordinator.//
I am extremely proud to be a queer woman working in the STEM space. I grew up in a small town in Montana, and was the first in my family to graduate from college. My undergraduate degree is in biology and my master’s is in educational leadership. I became a high school biology teacher straight out of undergrad and have since moved into my current role as a science/STEM specialist for a high school district. I am passionate about the pursuit of equity in STEM spaces, especially regarding queer, female+, and historically marginalized communities in STEM. I plan to continue working to support students and amplify all voices and identities in STEM spaces and to pursue a doctorate in educational equity/social justice.
