She/Her
I am panromantic grey-asexual and I am an experimental quantum physicist.//
I’m currently a PhD candidate in physics with an emphasis on quantum technology at the University of Surrey. My research involves finding ways to control the electron spin state in semiconductor materials by fabricating nanostructures called ‘quantum point contacts’. This is useful for spin injection into quantum technologies, for example, initialising electron spin qubits for quantum computing.
When I’m not doing science, I’m quite active on social media where I try to spread a love of physics as well as talking lots about disability awareness as I am autistic. Although I don’t discuss my sexuality often, it’s an important part of who I am and has helped shape who I am today!
