I am a lesbian and I am a neuroscientist. //

I received a dual-degree B.S. in Biology and Psychology from Bowling Green State University where I was also inducted into Phi Beta Kappa in 1998. I received my PhD from the University of Florida in Medical Sciences with a concentration in Neuroscience in 2003. I then completed postdoctoral training at the University of Michigan where I am currently an Associate Research Scientist. I am interested in developing biomarkers and novel therapeutics for depression and anxiety.
