I am trans and I am an ecologist and retired university administrator.//

 

I transitioned while serving as a Department Head at UMass in 2003. I have since worked at UMass for awhile longer, then the US EPA, Oregon State University and Stanford University. I have now retired and continue to stay engaged, advising a few graduate students, teaching a few online courses, and serving on state and local boards. I have two sons, both of whom I love dearly, and I am married to a wonderful woman who supports me unconditionally. Life is good!
