He/Him
I’m gay, queer, and I work in cognitive psychology.//
I have been a translator, I have studied some philosophy, and now I am finally at home in Cognitive Psychology, studying human perception. I am mainly concerned with figuring out mathematical equations to describe what happens in our brains when we try to catch balls under varying circumstances. Balls that obey gravity and balls that don’t, when we’re moving through our environment or when we’re still; when gravity weights us down and when we escape Earth’s pull into space.
Funnily enough, my work even sort of applies to my biggest hobby: playing volleyball, both indoors and on the beach (with fellow queers, of course!). Unfortunately, theoretical knowledge about ball catching doesn’t make me a better player at all, but I have the sport-hating gay kid AND the sport-hating scientist trope against me, so … I’m doing what I can, okay?
