I am a lesbian and I am a science “translator” and educator. //
I believe the best science education actually happens outside the classroom in informal settings. The more hands-on, the better! Science is all around us and impacts our daily lives, but few non-scientists recognize this fully. I work to create connections for science and communities, currently focusing on inspiring a lifetime fascination with STEM in students from K-12. I call myself a science translator because I work to make science accessible for everyone.
