I am a first-generation, Latinx fish biologist. I read and study all things marine and have worked in education and outreach. I received my undergrad in Rhode Island after growing up in Texas. Lived in San Diego for many years before diving back into graduate school on the Gulf Coast studying hypoxia and fish. Hobby wise, I love entertainment and pop culture, and running.
