I am a lesbian and I am an astrobiologist.//

I have a bachelors in physics, masters in astronomy and a PhD in Earth Sciences. I currently work as a researcher at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) where I study the habitability potential of planets around low mass stars called M dwarfs. I came out as a lesbian when I was 42 after a whole life of struggling with myself and what I was supposed to be.
