I am gay and I am an immunologist. //
I am currently an MBA/PhD student at Duke University in the Department of Immunology. My interest is involved with HIV vaccine development and understanding the mechanisms for the correlates of protection when it comes to vaccine humoral responses. One of my most prominent interests, however, involves the intersection of LGBTQ+ diversity and inclusion efforts not only in academia, but also in the broader scope of industry and the biotech sector. I want to foster and encourage an open-share community amongst science professionals at large and encourage an atmosphere of equality and openness.
