I am queer and I am a biologist. //

I’m a Berkeley-based PhD student studying the amphibian chytrid fungus in Panama. Originally from Lancaster, PA, I came to Berkeley via Drexel University in Philadelphia. My favorite part of the Bay is my huge queer family. When I’m not hiking around the rainforest you can find me cuddling with my chihuahua Brandi, playing rugby, and going to shows. I am proud to live my truth across all aspects of my life and establish authentic connections with other people doing the same. I love queering up academia and creating space for diversity and human connection wherever I go.
