I am gay and I am a computer scientist.//
My research is at the crossroads of Computer Science, Computational Statistics, and Signal and Image Processing and Analysis. Most of my work is related to the simulation, processing and analysis of Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) imagery and Polarimetric SAR (PolSAR). I’m 58 eight years old, married with my longtime companion (31 years together), and Full Professor at the Universidade Federal de Alagoas – Ufal, Brazil.
