She/Her
I am a lesbian and I am a coastal geomorphologist. //
I study coastal evolution using numerical models, remote sensing, fieldwork, and lab-based physical models. I’m interested in how the feedbacks between vegetation, humans, and physical processes impact coastal change over the next century. I am an assistant professor at NC State University. I got my PhD from MIT/WHOI and finished a postdoc at IU. My undergraduate degree was at Wellesley College with a double major in Classics and Geosciences.
